Garmin Foretrex 401

The Foretrex 401 is somewhat unusual - this wrist mounted GPS unit is not a complete sports watch nor does it include the features of typical handheld GPS receivers. However, it is great for outdoor activities that require both hands. Besides the waterproof GPS receiver, it features a barometric altimeter and an electronic compass for measuring altitude and bearing. It can also be used in conjunction with wireless accessories like cadence sensor or heart rate monitor to help you optimize your training.

The Foretrex 401 comes equipped with the TracBack feature that ensures that you never get lost. Once you turn on the TracBack feature, the Foretrex 401 will keep track of your route and display it on the screen, allowing you to retrace your steps back to your starting point. The device also allows users to create and store routes, locations and other helpful information as well as supports export of your files to upload to TracksEdge for us to help you display your run of a lifetime.
